Fredrikstad municipality is considering reopening a local ferry route temporarily to test the new autonomous ferry developed at Hydrolift Smart City Ferries.

The serial entrepreneur Bård Eker is scanning the investor market for funding of the electrical ferry project from Hydrolift Smart City Ferries. The value is estimated to be over 100 mill NOK.
