The serial entrepreneur Bård Eker is scanning the investor market for funding of the electrical ferry project from Hydrolift Smart City Ferries. The value is estimated to be over 100 mill NOK.

Hydrolift Smart City Ferries is a subsidiary of Hydrolift.  The company has an ambition to offer 200 autonomous and electrical ferries by 2029. At that time they will be in traffic on river i large cities.  

Eker has priced the company to 11 mill Euro, or 120 mill NOK.

Ketil Solvik-Olsen har previously stated to the newspaper that Arendal, Fredrikstad, Drammen, Oslofjorden, Sandnes and Stavanger are possible places for pilot testing.
